Jean Bellin has more than 30 years experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, including sales, marketing, business development, mergers and acquisitions, and general management – both domestic and international. He began his pharmaceutical industry career with 12 years at Eli Lilly & Company, holding positions in sales, marketing and general management in Brazil, the US, the Scandinavian countries and Italy. He then founded and served as Managing Director of DuPont Pharma Italy. In 1993, Mr. Bellin became the head of the international Pharmaceutical division of UCB, then a $2 billion publicly traded, biopharmaceutical and chemical group based in Brussels, Belgium. There he managed the pharmaceutical subsidiaries in the US, Canada, South America, Japan, China and Southeast Asia. Later he managed the Osteohealth and Animal Health global divisions of Luitpold Pharmaceuticals, a wholly-owned company of Sankyo Pharmaceuticals Company Ltd., then the second largest pharmaceutical company in Japan. In 2004 and 2005, he was the CEO of Mountain View Pharmaceuticals Inc., a California-based biopharmaceutical company where the PEGylation of therapeutic proteins was a major focus. In 2006, Jean became the President of Metagenics, a global life sciences company, where Mr. Bellin lead and grew the US and international sales, marketing and manufacturing operations of the company for 4 and a half years. Mr. Bellin left Metagenics in October of 2010 after its acquisition by the Alticor group, the $8.2 billion parent company of Nutrilite, the largest vitamin manufacturer in the world.
Mr. Bellin received his bachelor’s degree in Economic, Political and Social Sciences from the Facultés Universitaires Saint Louis in Brussels and a License in Applied Economic Sciences from the Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium. |
Sadi, Koksoy, Ph.D, DVM - Technical Supervisor |
Dr. Koksoy is the founder of the Clinical and Research Immunology and Flow Cytometry Core Laboratory at Akdeniz University, consisting of both Clinical and Research divisions. There he developed and validated various state-of-the-art flow cytometric and immunological tests and protocols that meet national and international regulatory standards for the immunologic assessment of transplant patients, diagnosing immunodeficiencies, autoimmune diseases, hematologic malignancies, and certain infections. He also served as the Associate Director of the Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics laboratory, which is a part of one of the largest transplantation centers in Europe.
Dr. Koksoy served as a Professor of Medical Microbiology and Immunology at Akdeniz University, School of Medicine. He received his MSc and PhD degrees in the fields of Microbiology and Immunology from Ohio State University, and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, from Ankara University, Turkey. He has authored/co-authored more than 50 SCI-indexed papers in scientific journals.

Dr. Engelman received his BS undergraduate degree from Ohio State University. He received an M.D, degree from Ohio State College of Medicine. He was a resident in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Engelman was an Emergency Department staff Physician at St. Joseph’s for 23 years and served as Emergency Department Director for 22 years. He was Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Engelman became fascinated about Integrative Functional Medicine. He has earned a Fellowship in Stem Cell Medicine Certification and Advanced Fellowship in Integrative Functional Medicine. He is the Founder and Director of Engelman Health Institute in Phoenix and has utilized Cyrex Labs in his practice. |

Dr. Aristo Vojdani obtained his Ph.D. in the field of microbiology and clinical immunology with postdoctoral studies in tumor immunology at UCLA. Vojdani’s ongoing research, spanning a 40-year career, focuses on the role of environmental factors, such as toxic chemicals, infections and dietary proteins and peptides in complex diseases. An owner of 15 U.S. patents for laboratory assessments, he has published 120 peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals. Dr. Vojdani is CEO and technical director of Immunosciences Lab., Inc. in Los Angeles, CA, a member of the editorial board of four scientific journals, and a guest editor of six journals. |
